The Second Epistle to the Corinthians

II Corinthians 1:6-7

KJV - And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation,
which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: (1)
or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation. (2)
And our hope of you is stedfast, Knowing, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation. (Byz*)

NASV - But if we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation;
or if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, (2)
which is effective in the patient enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer; (1)

the numbered phrases are in reverse order.
