Rev. 5:9

KJV - And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; (Aleph, Byz)

NASV - And they sang a new song, saying, “Worthy are You to take the book and to break its seals; for You were slain, and purchased for God with Your blood men from every tribe and tongue and people and nation. (A)

NIV - And they sang a new song, saying:   “You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation. (A)

Note: Aleph and Byz identify the "redeemed" through inclusion of the word "us".  The beasts and the elders (vs 8) themselves are included explicitly, while others are included in a veiled way, making the verse somewhat ambiguous.  The A manuscript (Alexandrinus), excludes the word 'us'.  Translators infer the identity of the "purchased" from "out of every kindred, etc" as 'men'(NASV) or 'persons'(NIV).

Rev. 5:13

KJV - And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. (A, Byz)

NASV - And every created thing which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all things in them, I heard saying, “To Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, be blessing and honor and glory and dominion forever and ever.” (Aleph)

Rev. 6:1

KJV - And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, come and see. (Aleph, Byz)

NASV - Then I saw when the Lamb broke one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures saying as with a voice of thunder, “Come.” (A)

Rev. 6:2

KJV - And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. (Aleph, A)

NASV - I looked, and behold, a white horse, and he who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer.” (Aleph, A)

(“And I saw” and “I Looked” are from the same words found in both Aleph and A. The KJV normally follows the Byz manuscripts. It does not in this verse; Byz does not contain the phrase.)

Rev. 6:3-4

KJV - And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. 4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

(“and see” is not in the major manuscripts, including Byz, so the KJV does not follow Byz in this verse. It normally does.)

NASV - He broke the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, “Come.” 4 And another, a red horse, went out; and to him who sat on it, it was granted to take peace from the earth, and that men would slay one another; and a great sword was given to him. (A, Byz)

Rev. 6:5

KJV - And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. (Aleph*)

NASV - When He broke the third seal, I heard the third living creature saying, “Come.” I looked, and behold, a black horse; and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. (A)

*Aleph reads “. . . Come and See. I looked, and behold . . .”. The TR (KJV source which normally follows Byz) follows Aleph in this instance. The KJV combines "I looked, and behold", making "I beheld". Byz does not include "look". It reads ". . . Come and See. And Behold . . .".

Rev. 6:7-8

KJV - And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. 8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth. (*Aleph)

NASV - When the Lamb broke the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, “Come.” 8 I looked, and behold, an ashen horse; and he who sat on it had the name Death; and Hades was following with him.
