Galatians 1:3

Galatians 1:11

KJV - But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. (Aleph, A, Byz)

NASV - For I would have you know, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man. (B)


Galatians 3:17

KJV - And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect. (Byz)

NASV - What I am saying is this: the Law, which came four hundred and thirty years later, does not invalidate a covenant previously ratified by God, so as to nullify the promise. (Aleph, A, B)


Galatians 4:6

KJV - And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. (Byz)

NASV - Because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!” (Aleph, A, B)


Galatians 4:7

KJV - Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ. (Byz)

NASV - Therefore you are no longer a slave, but a son; and if a son, then an heir through God. (Aleph, A, B)


Galatians 4:14

KJV - And my temptation which was in my flesh ye despised not, nor rejected; but received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus. (Byz)

NASV - and that which was a trial to you in my bodily condition you did not despise or loathe, but you received me as an angel of God, as Christ Jesus Himself. (Aleph, A, B)


Galatians 4:25

KJV - For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children. (Byz)

NASV - Now this Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia and corresponds to the present Jerusalem, for she is in slavery with her children. (A, B)

Note: The Aleph manuscript says (vss 24, 25) "... She is Hagar. For this is Mount Sanai ..."


Galatians 4:26

KJV - But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all. (A, Byz)

NASV - But the Jerusalem above is free; she is our mother. (Aleph, B)


Galatians 4:28

KJV - Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise. (Aleph, A, Byz)

NASV - And you brethren, like Isaac, are children of promise. (B)


Galatians 5:1

KJV - Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. (Aleph, A, B)

ALTERNATE KJV - Stand fast in the liberty therefore wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. (Byz)

Note: 'Alternate' is what the KJV would say if it was translated to match 'Byz' instead of 'Aleph', 'A', and 'B'.


Galatians 5:21

KJV - Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. (A, Byz)

NASV - envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. (Aleph, B)


Galatians 5:24

KJV - And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. (Byz)

NASV - Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. (Aleph, A, B)


Galatians 6:2

KJV - Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. (Aleph, A, Byz)

NASV - Bear one another’s burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ. (Aleph, A, Byz)

NIV - Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. (B)


Galatians 6:15
