I Timothy 2:7

I Timothy 3:16

I Timothy 4:10

KJV - For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe. (Byz)

I Timothy 5:16

KJV - If any man or woman that believeth have widows, let them relieve them, and let not the church be charged; that it may relieve them that are widows indeed. (Byz)

NASV - If any woman who is a believer has dependent widows, she must assist them and the church must not be burdened, so that it may assist those who are widows indeed. (Aleph, A)


I Timothy 6:5

KJV - Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself. (Byz)

NASV - and constant friction between men of depraved mind and deprived of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. (Aleph, A)


I Timothy 6:7

KJV - For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. (Byz)

I Timothy 6:17

KJV - Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; (Byz)

NASV - Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to fix their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy. (Aleph)


I Timothy 6:19

KJV - Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life. (Byz)

NASV - storing up for themselves the treasure of a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is life indeed. (Aleph, A)


I Timothy 6:21

KJV - Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen. (Byz)

NASV - which some have professed and thus gone astray from the faith. Grace be with you. (Aleph, A)

Note: "thee" (KJV) is singular. "you" (NASV) is plural.
